Catalina Uribe

Catalina is a doctoral student in the school psychology program at Nova Southeastern University. She is also a clinical support administrator, or case manager, at the University of Miami-Nova Southeastern University Center for Autism and Related Disabilities (UM-NSU CARD). Her passion for work within the autism community began as a behavior technician, then special education teacher in a self-contained pre-school. Catalina’s goal is to provide affirming services and teach from a strength-based approach

 

 

 

Marlee Rennert, MS, CCC-SLP

Marlee is a Speech-Language Pathologist born and raised in Miami Beach, Florida. She received her undergraduate degree from the University of Florida and her master’s degree from Florida International University. She immediately began working with elementary aged children, both in the school setting and the private practice setting. She has experience with Early Intervention, Autism Spectrum Disorder, Down Syndrome, Expressive and Receptive Language Disorders, Attention Deficit Disorder, Pragmatics, and Fluency.

 

 

 

 

Marti E.Pyle, MS

Marti is a ESE support facilitator at South Broward High School. She has a bachelor’s degree in elementary education and a master’s degree is special education. Marti has taught students with autism for 18 years at all grade levels. She has taught at the high school level for the past 13 years. She has a passion to work with students with autism in the regular classroom setting and help them be successful socially and academically.

 

 

 

 

Jeanette Guzman-Davis, MOT, OTR/L

Jeanette graduated from Florida International University completing her Bachelor’s in Psychology and receiving a Master’s Degree in Occupational Therapy from Nova Southeastern University. She has worked in pediatrics since graduating. She has experience in outpatient pediatric, in schools, early intervention programs, and with adults in inpatient. She has a passion for helping children and families be able to participate in everyday activities especially in sensory processing. She has completed multiple continuing education courses in handwriting, sensory processing, executive function, and social/behavior techniques. She is passionate about helping kids and families.
